Once upon a time in a place where little ones could grow and flourish, Toddlers Workshop opened its doors to a world of endless possibilities. The program was thoughtfully designed with emphasis on the idea that "acceptance is the key to growth." As curious explorers, toddlers are always on the move, seeking out new adventures.

In this enchanting workshop, they find themselves in an environment, where each corner unveils a fun-filled experience just waiting to be discovered. This magical space instills in children the belief that the world is a safe and exciting place to explore.

Among the dedicated caregivers is principal Nikola Potgieter, a loving mother to a beautiful little toddler. Her heart swells with joy as she watches the tiny tots and their caregivers partake in delightful activities, forging lasting bonds and creating cherished memories. Driven by her passion for early childhood development, Nikola is committed to ensuring that the workshop continues to be a haven where the seeds of curiosity and growth are nurtured and encouraged to thrive.

More about Toddlers Workshop

Toddlers Workshop offers age-appropriate classes for children, with the first class catering to those aged 8 months to 2 years and the second class designed for 2 to 3-year-olds. The group sessions serve as invaluable bonding time between the toddler and a caregiver, such as a parent, grandparent, or nanny. To accommodate working parents, Toddlers Workshops are held on Saturday mornings, providing an opportunity for them to enjoy special bonding moments with their little ones. Each session comprises three distinct activity periods, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.

Playing toddlers

 Sensory Stimulation

The first section of the Toddlers Workshop program includes equipment time, sensory play, gym time, and tactile experiences. This portion is specifically designed to offer sensory stimulation, with a focus on tactile (touch) and kinetic (movement) elements. By providing a foundation for the development of cognitive and coordination skills, this section exposes children to a diverse range of new and suitable experiences.

Music Time

Music time is a universally enjoyable part of the program. The carefully selected songs serve multiple purposes: they encourage tactile interaction with caregivers, foster a strong sense of rhythm, pique the child's interest in sounds, stimulate language development, and promote learning through hands-on experiences.

Social Time

During free play, children have the opportunity to interact with their peers, engaging in various activities such as sand and water play, climbing on outdoor equipment, swinging, and using push and pull toys. This unstructured time provides the perfect setting for learning about social interaction and fostering friendships that may last a lifetime.
